Like the snakes rising from the baskets,
you too are charmed...
by the dirt paths
cicumambulating Vrindavana
around and around...

Like the snakes rising from the baskets
you were lifted from sleep by
bells, cymbals, drums
clanging, ringing, bursting,
calling you to walk,
calling you to wake - unlike the snakes -
falling into your freedom.
